The difficulty I have with DVD-A's is my system, a Denon DVD-3910, does not play the centre channel..

Am i wrong or "New gold dream" was a dvd-a only release? IIRC only the best of SM was on SACD.

The DVD-Audios of both Simple Minds albums (New Gold Dream and Once Upon A Time) are different mixes than the sacds of the same titles. The SACD are all stereo only mixes that are the same as the original albums, no multichannel. The DVD Audios were both multichannel as well as stereo but were remixed for the dvd audio format. So in short same albums different mixes and mo multi channel for any Simple Minds sacd. In addition to the above mentioned albums the 2 disc greatest hits album and "Cry" were released on SACD stereo only but not on DVD Audio.
