What do you think?

I'm definately going to buy the SACD (even though I don't have an SACD player) because I'm I huge Floyd fan (and I plan to upgrade in the future). Is the vinyl just regular stereo mix remastered? Being a Floyd fan, I've bought the regular issue LP several times. If I have the remastered stereo mix on the SACD (its a hybrid disc, correct?) and they don't even use the new artwork on the new LP, what's the point?

Initial response to the new vinyl is overwhelmingly positive. Supposedly, it blows away everything that has come before, including the MoFi UHQR. Of course, these reviews come from the RTI test pressings. The production pressings will be done by EMI in Europe. We can only hope the quality matches RTI's standards. However, it sounds like utmost care was used every step of the way in mastering the original stereo tape. If you're a Floyd fan, I would say this one is a must!
