I was at Costco tonight and picked up a bunch of music video DVDs. Included titles I saw were:

Joni Mitchell - Shadows & Light (in true 5.1)
John Mayer - Any Given Thursday
Sade - Lovers Live
Dixie Chicks - An Evening with...
James Taylor - Pull Over
Neil Diamond - Greatest Hits Live
Stevie Ray Vaughn - Live From Austin Texas

Each was $8.99... I almost paid $19.99 or 22.99 at Borders for the Joni Mitchell last week. Glad I waited.

Wow! I saw that tour and that show if it was taped at The Greek Theatre in LA. Can't remember what that old laserdisc said now.

Such a great thing and now I can cross it off the list of obvious music DVDs that aren't out yet.

That list would still include:

The Police - Synchronicity
The Who - Rocks America
Pink Floyd - Pulse
Tears for Fears - several titles
The Tubes - Completion Backwards Principle
Genesis - Live 1976
Rush - Exit Stage Left (import seen)

I guess I'm the only non-Moderator around, but none of these music videos interest me. I'd like some of the laserdisc only titles to come out including Pet Shop Boys, Duran Duran, John Cougar, Devo, and maybe even the Tom Petty one. Most of these were Pioneer Artists discs. I guess Pioneer doesn't need the money.
