The Essential Sly And The Family Stone

I picked up today the 2 CD Sly Stone hits package that was just released. Everything is in stereo, including "Hot Fun In The Summertime", "Everybody Is A Star" and "Thank You", which are the quadraphonic versions. I have not been able to run them through the Tate yet, but they sound like they are from the SQ masters.

I'm pretty sure they are. I remember reading some time in the 90s that for one of the CD issues they went back to the quad mix for those 3 because those were the only stereo versions avaliable.

Unless they've done a remix since, I'm guessing that's what you got.
