I was zooming in on the little logo's on the player's face plates to see if there was any dvd-audio or sacd logo. I didn't see any.

Unless somebody uses photoshop or other software to alter the picture, you won't see those logos. Worse yet, when you put one of those discs in the Toshiba HD DVD player, you won't hear the audio. There is a poll at AVSForum linked above, you can go vote for the two formats to be added. Robert Zohn's Value Electronics is an authorized Toshiba HD DVD internet retailer, sells a good number of players and is going to present the results to Toshiba if he gets a response worthy of presentation.
