Highfidelityreview.com has the news from Universal that the Allman Brother's classic "Live At Fillmore East" SACD has been postponed until August and bumped up to a two disc set. I have bought this great title in three formats: double LP, redbook CD, and the DTS MC, and I am salivating to hear it in SACD. This is one of my primary discs, top ten all time, etc.
Does anyone have any info as to what the content will be that pushed it to a two disc SACD release? There is a "Fillmore Concerts" redbook CD (two discs) that includes some bonus tracks, but consists mostly of the live cuts that are included on the "Eat A Peach" release, which is still scheduled for SACD release on July 13.
I am confident I will buy both, whatever the content, but I am curious as to whether there is new material on the two disc verion of "...Fillmore East".
