This one slipped by me, and noticed a QQ member posted it on the CD thread.
My box set arrived yesterday, and it is an exquisite box set for the Humble Pie fan.
I feared, naturally a highly compressed reissue, and was surprised as heck to see the average Dynamic Range between 8 discs is DR 12.
All discs are 10's, 11's, 12' with a handful of 9's and 13's+.
I have the Smokin' SACD from AP and that is just 1 notch above this Smokin' CD.
I have the original CD of Performance-- and they are equal.
Liner notes are extensive as a whole, and additional liner notes on each release of the 8.
I purchased via AMAZON US
If you are a Humble Pie fan and this slipped by, it is an excellent purchase.

That brings memories..I still have the original live at the Filmore East album here somewhere......can't even remember where I got that.....it was so many years ago when I was in my teens.....]

Funny that all the lyric sites seem to have different words for the line I’ve always known as “seeds and dust, that you got bust on” depending on the one you use. To me that made the most sense as the singer is on the hole !

I had all the Humble Pie LPs and CDs, but bought this box set for the corrected remix of the Eat It album (on the vinyl version of the box, which is what I bought, I assume the CD version also has the corrected one). Steve had originally mixed and EQed the album in his home studio that hadn't been acoustically tuned and was bass shy, so Steve mistakenly over compensated the bass frequencies. The remixed, re-EQed version sounds much better.

I agree, a few of the lines vary from place to place.
