Somehow I got on this outfits mailing list (http://www.2l.no/) and received an e-mail this morning announcing their latest Hybrid SACD 5.1 SURROUND DXD disk - Beethoven's "MIRROR CANON". According to the news release you may download the complete first movement of this work from their "HIRES test site"

This really isn't my cup-of-tea but I know there are some folks here that are into classical music. Enjoy.

I received the 2L July newsletter today: http://www.2l.no/2L.htm. 2L is announcing a Blu-Ray music disk (all classical music). The free SACD Multi-Channel sampler is still available. I ordered the sampler (hey – it’s a free SACD) and gave it a listen. Classical music really isn’t my thing but I was impressed. This music really lends itself to 5.1.
