These are new prestine blu-ray discs that do not have crud on them. All digital players do that (or freeze) when there is crud on the disc.
you might try the factory reset option. If that doesn't help, email Oppo support. They will respond.Tj

Where have you gone Joe DiMaggio? I didn’t realize that Oppo and Oppo Digital we’re different.Oppo never left.
Oppo Digital left.

You mean Mr. Coffee?
You mean Mr. Coffee?
Oh crap. Now look what I've done.
Do you realize that a lot of millennials only know Joe as Mr. Coffee....they have no idea he was a great athlete...and the most unforgiveable thing is that they didn't know he was married to Marilyn Monroe
Well, CLINTY, THEY KNOW IT NOW!
Ralphie...I hope so..."jolting Joe" deserves better

Would THESE qualify as 3D TVs?
(I do not see them offering the glasses, though)
Glad you posted that. i would not have got the joke otherwise.
Oppo made the right decision to exit the shrinking market....instead of delaying their departure and the possibility of having a fire sale to clear their inventory they left at the right time...selling a disc player when discs are on life support makes no sense...even a high end product makes no sense...there is no great demand for this type of product even now...not the kind of numbers that a company needs to profit
Exactly. These TVs are being developed by the parent Chinese company that also makes smartphones, not the San Francisco Bay Area-based subsidiary that made disc players, DACs, headphone amps, and headphones.Oppo never left.
Oppo Digital left.
