PBS Newshour Report On Dolby Atmos

I haven't heard Atmos yet, there's an AMC theater w/Atmos in the KC metro area, I plan to see one of the big budget movies there soon.

I noticed the Atmos mixer profiled in the PBS report was panning sounds (seemingly a lot), kinda like some of the Hugo Montenegro (for RCA QuadraDisc) mixes ~50 years ago:

Largely a puff piece for Dolby until Brad Wood comes in. So glad to see someone targeting the old white guy market....

That news reporter Mike Cerre kind of has that Dan Rather whistling 'S' thing going on.
