They are calling it a dvda but the details state that it is DTS 96/24 5.1.

Exactly… :violin
Lord Soord is turning into the new Steven Wilson, judging by his work ethic. Does he ever sleep?Just spotted this from Bruce Soord on the Burning Shed twitter feed at the bottom of their web page "Currently having a lot of fun mixing the brilliant new @gongplanet album in 5.1. This album is made for surround. https://www.burningshed.com/store/madfish/collection/534/ …"

Lets hope not, more time for 5.1 mixing then :ugham:
Based on this tweet from Bruce S. today it will in fact be a DVDA, so title could be updated for this thread:
"Bruce Soord @bsoord 6m"
"The new Gong 5.1 will include lossless MLP on a hybrid DVD-AV. For all you audiophiles out there."
YES! Excellent news, thanks Peter!
I'll be ordering this one very soon!
And, true to my word, I just ordered this one from Burning Shed.
I'm not really that thrilled about the price (2 CDs and a DVD-A/V shipped for over $50) but it's not only important to support the DVD-A/V format as a continuing means of providing great high-res audio to us, but it's also good to support Bruce Soord's efforts, as this is now the third DVD-A/V release he has mixed in surround this year (following Riverside and the soon-to-be-released Pineapple Thief album)
So here goes nothing! I hope I like this!
I just ordered this Deluxe MLP 5.1 96/24 set from Planet Gong Bazaar and with s/h to the US the delivered price was $32.44

That is 32.44 pounds delvered to US correct, so right in line with burningshed.
Does anyone have their copy of this yet, curious what peoples thoughts are on this one.
