Congratulations on your success. I very much enjoy your surround mixes in 5.1, great tone and a smooth feel with a very much surround feel, no speakers ever overloaded in the mix.
I read that you will be doing an Atmos release/releases in 2024, can't wait, hopefully I will be the first on the block to get your new 2024 releases.

It's a real treat to have you here and active, Stephen. We are privileged to be able to ask you questions and hold discussions directly. Although I take it that your move into surround sound mixing has been more recent than some of the other stalwarts (like that other *Steven, Bruce Soord, Elliot Scheiner, Bob Clearmountain, etc.), you clearly "get it," and your extensive history and experience as an engineer shines through. It's wonderful to have another veteran in the fold.

Thank you for your lovely post!! I have been working with surround sound for more than twenty years, although it was mostly either for a few DVD live show recordings or radical remix EPs, and experimental sound installations which has been a great experience. I could never seem to persuade anyone I was working with to go down the surround route - or even into the classic remix world - for many years until I met Mark Powell from Esoteric Recordings around 2015. He invited me to get involved, and the rest is history!!
