I just came across this The Beatles: How a schoolboy made the band's earliest known UK concert recording

The Beatles were just so much a part of my childhood, from tracks on the radio, the US broadcast to the UK, to my father playing the songs on the piano for us. Fascinating that this has turned up from 1963.
Thanks for sharing this Duncan! That's my favourite period of the band's history and the BBC recordings are the ones I play the most. I hope they eventually release the entire show. Live At The BBC features a few tracks is equally rough sound quality so I'm hopeful the show will be inclunded in a future Please Please Me deluxe set.

I love the fact that this was captured two weeks after the release of their first LP and 5 weeks before they changed the band's logo. They were just about to explode and change eveything.
