Just got these 2 in-

the Camel was actually purchased new from discogs through pop.market (but I tried to find it on their website and didn't see the SACD), price seemed really good and I've never owned this one before. Just hope the mastering is good!

also this Living Stereo from AP.

It is, better I feel than on the Chameleon compilation. Have you the SACDs of The Snow Goose & Rain Dances, they're worth getting if not.

Puppo, is this your only copy of Belafonte Blues? If not, have you a/b'ed the SACD to the other copy?

This is the only Belafonte SACD I haven't bought. I own a Classic Records Gold RBCD. I'm pleased w/performance & fidelity on Gold CD,

Yes, it's the only version I have. I'd bet the Classic Records Gold sounds pretty darn good though.

The SACD CD has good DR numbers, but the Dynamic Range DB doesn't show the Gold CD version, at least for that comparison.

This one has some real nice wide instrument placement, so I've decided to do an 5.1 up-mix on it as well, just for kicks ;)

While I wouldn’t say I go completely overboard when delving into a “new” artist, I wouldn’t totally deny it either.

I’ve never owned a Dylan solo album, but I pre-ordered Time Out Of Mind from SDE. So I thought maybe it’s time to delve deeper and see if I can pick up what so many people seem/seemed to love about Dylan. It’s an idea I’ve toyed with over the years, but never followed through until now.

I could have gone the streaming route, but what fun is that when there are all the MOFI’s you could add on the shelf?

To show I’m not totally without restraint, I didn’t get the Greatest Hits title or Before the Flood.

Not in the picture is the reissue of The Bootleg Series Vol. 1-3. I love Rod Stewart’s version of Only A Hobo and that song isn’t on any of the MOFI albums. Thus, another purchase.

Dang it. I am so weak. Just ordered.

Please don’t tell me Greatest Hits is not to be missed, too. ;)

OK, I won't tell you that Greatest is only SACD w/Positively 4th St. Make like I never said it.
Y’know... my wife usually just has me pick out something I want for Father’s Day and order it myself.

If it’s technically a gift from her, it’s not like I selfishly bought it for myself. Hmmm....
