Since it would be the only place (besides a concert hall-well, and a few more) where compression would be necessary to "squash" the dynamic range ..

are there any Car radios that feature a built in compressor(or limiter)???

It'd be a mess to install an outboard one, and besides , it'd need to be EXTREMELY sturdy to withstand all the vibrations...

Any thoughts on the matter?
