And heard you're writing a new novella: "Oh Capstan, My Capstan!"

So do I my friend!I use Q Tips constantly. To clean my 3 heads, capstan and rollers
This explains the crusty stuff all over your android's screen, but Samsung should consider this for their next ad campain for the Note.I never thought we'd be exchanging ear cleaning tips and secrets on the QQ Forum.........but now that we are...the little S-Pen that pops out from the bottom of my Android cell phone does a fantastic job. Try it sometime! Be sure and use the flat end, not the point.
I once had a client complain the test app we built wasn't working. After much trouble-shooting, I asked for his phone which I collected in a little bag and when I got it out of the bag, his screen was covered in so much gunk, it's a wonder anything worked at all. It was truly disgusting and now I'm wondering if he had been cleaning his ears all over it! After a thorough wipe with a damp cloth, everything worked. Truly mystifying how people can let their stuff get so filthy. This explains the crusty stuff all over your android's screen, but Samsung should consider this for their next ad campain for the Note.
That's gross! But not totally surprising since a lot of people are slobs!I once had a client complain the test app we built wasn't working. I've heard that results in really crappy reception.plus I don't want to drop it in the bowl
Nah, I'm only a couch guitarist, though I was a "hippy" in the olden days and often wore my hair waist-length. It grew way faster back thenAnd believe me, high stress jobs contribute to hair loss as well. Even though mine was UBER stressful, I still managed to keep my hair.
Also, sporting long hair most of one's life also contributes to hair loss as it constantly pulls on the roots when brushing/combing. Did you ever wear your hair long as a musician?
Aha, you wore your hair 'waist length ...' the gorgeous woman who cuts my hair insists long hair from constant brushing DOES in fact pull on the roots and promotes baldness. It does make perfect sense.Nah, I'm only a couch guitarist, though I was a "hippy" in the olden days and often wore my hair waist-length. It grew way faster back then
My left ear got blocked with wax buildup. Nurse at my doctor's used one of the moderate pressure water things to get it out. That worked but I now have tinnitus in my left ear, that thing was so loud to the ear that was being cleaned. Not recommended. Levering it out with some instrument would have been safer, I'd softened it with olive oil for 2 weeks beforehand. My post was inspired by an ad I've seen recently (TV or YouTube) about some moderate pressure (water?) based ear wax removal system, it seemed kind of dangerous to me since the ear is such a delicate system.
I had a job where they issued me a PC that had locks on the covers. Roughly a year later, the PC would simply shut down without warning. The IT tech showed up and took the cover off. It was so full of dust that it looked like a vacuum cleaner bag. Since my employer didn’t trust me with the innards of the unit, I certainly wasnkt responsible for that mess, but clearly it was used and not cleaned when I got it.Truly mystifying how people can let their stuff get so filthy.

The last 25 years of my career was spent working for a retina specialist. A few times a week a pt would ask me to clean their glasses... they seem a little dirty. That's gross! But not totally surprising since a lot of people are slobs!
I've seen things where common house hold items were tested (bacteria cultures taken) for germs, etc.. Cell phones were the filthiest!
That's among the reasons I don't use my cell or tablet in the bathroom. ..plus I don't want to drop it in the bowl
Yes..... But at least all our comments are contained in this one thread. This sort of stuff would get deleted anywhere elseThis thread is not recommended while eating breakfast.
