I desperately need firmware updates for the Oppo OPDV971H player, especially if it can be confirmed that the update will allow the unit to play 16:9 formatted DVDA discs.
There are several players that are affected by this bug.
Pioneer 563/565/578 (I have this fix)
Oppo OPDV971H - there is a fix for this, but since I had a catastrophic HDD failure on the office PC I have lost it. It is also an "unofficial" fix, supplied to me by someone here - again, I cannot remember who.
Integra DPS 6.5 - Made by Onkyo, I need to know if the internals here will be updated by the Onkyo B4 update?
If anyone here has any of these players, will they please test any of the King Crimson series, or Steven Wilson's "Insurgentes" please?
