I just revisited this in light of the ES LFE delay thread and I think you need to add a 3ms LFE delay to the problems with this release...

I am sorry I read this thread. I bought the Japan 7 SACD issue and played it the other day.
Now Ill never enjoy hearing it again.......

So, in short:
1) split any song file into separate channels
2) delete all center channels
3) for track 1 to 5, apply delay 1ms to FR LR RR
4) don't touch track 6 and 7
5) recombine everything.

Correct?

Wouldn’t it be easier to just move the FL forward by 1ms (and if Cheezmo is correct, delay the LFE by 2ms instead of 3ms)?
