I will offer my Sansui QSD decorders in my stock.
because currently I must get some rare LPs than quads!!

items are
QSD-1 EX $700 (minor scuff on the front and top cover VG)
QSD-2 MINT $700(bought 1974 as new kept in the original carton box real NOS)
QSD-2 Near Mint $550 (both QSD-2 are black face and cover)
QSD-1000 EX $900 (has hit damege on the front panel but othes fine)
all included EMS shipping to US.I take Paypal.

All Japanese model but modified to US voltage(except D1000)
and only eight E.CAP recapped with premium Sanyo OS cap
on the four output buffer amp block.(except D1000)
because these E.CAPs are always weak points on QSDs
in my repair experience.
and removed blend resistors and full adjustment with QSE4.

Offers for QQ members first but if not I will put on ebay soon.
email me if interest. will let you know more details.

Thank you.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I purchased a D1000 from Hajime a couple of weeks ago (not the one listed above), and how pleased I was with the transaction. (y)

The shipping was extremely fast, the unit came in just a few days from Japan! I think it was shipped out from Japan on a Monday or Tuesday, and I had it by Saturday Morning here in Connecticut. Also, Hajime gives you a tracking number and the EMS site where you can see the progress of travel and expected delivery.

It was in excellent shape, and it looks beautiful! err...a very handsom unit, indeed...

Hajime, thank you again for selling me the QS-D1000 and including the copy of the QSE-4/QSD-4 manual for my QSD-4. I havn't been able to get the smile off my face each time I see that new addition to my racks.

Now only just a few more units....and I'll be done...? (yea...right)

I also want to say what a fantastic job Hajime does. I purchased 2 from him after he redid everything and they were wonderful.

He is so professional, the Quad Bob of the East.

I am listening to one now as I type this. So don't wait for ebay, buy them from him before they are lost.

Terry

I too can vouch for Hajime. He is the best! You will not be dissapointed if you choose to deal with him. (y)

Steve,Terry and Cai !

Hi, thanks for your messages for me.
I am glad to hear from you again! (oh Terry, here you are!!)

I had sold full recapped QSD2 two last year thru Cai.
Sound was really fantastic than normal QSD1 at my system.
I'd like to make more full tuning of QSDs but
unfortunately,I have no time to full recap work
I am still busy in job now.

Japanese audiophiles almost forgot quad era, also never mind for 5.1ch.
I have seen "Great Gig" Cai's website at 1999,
and I knew a lot of quad fans in US and EU not in Japan!
I am still looking for QSDs in Japan market but
QSDs are still rare even in Japan.
I have ever seen one or two units in a year.
My stocks were collected in five years more.
I am glad to offer to quadrafiles if they will enjoy the QS sound even now!

Thanks.
Hajime

Actually, I think that I was one of the ones who got one of those recapped QSD-2 units through Cai, and Hajime is correct, it sounds great ... super fast service and shipment too. Highly recommended. (y) (y) (y) Cheers, Mike.

Mike,
Hi, I am glad you're still taking care of my son.
also I must say thank you all !

All QSDs are still available.
I decide to reduce $100.00 for each QSDs.
I'm in love with rare vinyls now..

This is the final call.
The term of validity is till this weekend.
but contact me anytime if you interest for QSDs.

Thank you.

Hi,
QSD-1 and QSD-2 Near Mint was sold.

still available two items.
QSD-2 MINT $600
QSD-1000 EX $800

Thanks.
Hajime

Hi,

I bought the NM QSD-2.

Wow, what I was missing with my old setup! It's great! And I can hardly figure out what the most minor of blemishes are that kept this from being categorized as dead mint.

Pleasure doing business with you, Hajime.

That said, as had been written up on this BBS B4, there is a qualitative noise floor with these units. Noticeable really only when you go near the speaker when the amplifier's still on and there's no music playing. Not that I had the money for the QSD-1000 anyway...
