Hey guys! Here's another gem I stumbled upon that nobody seems to be aware of.

50 minutes of piano, accompanied by synthesizer and sound effects. I was a bit apprehensive when I read it was going to be with synths, but they do add to the piano playing - think "Ballade pour Adeline". Joey Curtin plays her own compositions and covers, like Sting's "Fragile" and Kansas - "Dust in the Wind". Her playing is masterful and filled with soul.
The solo piano comes from the fronts, with echoes in the rears when unaccompanied. When synths and occasional sound effects come in, they fill the room and sometimes even pan around the back, or come from one specific rear speaker. The effect is quite impressive because the piano, which plays alone for long periods, is only in the front. It's very nice when suddenly, the synth orchestration washes over you.
The highlight is the last track, which is accompanied by sounds of a train rumbling around the room.
This disc is available for less than 10 dollars (starting at 2 GBP on amazon.co.uk), and there are ample supplies left. I already snatched mine, so knock yourselves out.
