I have by now started screening discs, and (despite this very post) I will no longer buy Silverline. In fact, when I purchased this disc, I did so after verifying that it was put out by someone other than Silverline--someone called "5.1 Entertainment."
P.S. "5.1 Entertainment" is Silverline spelled sideways. You see it on the fine print of the jacket, and, of course, as you see the image blaze across the screen.
The disc is a collection of 60's California Surfer stuff--Jan & Dean, The Beach Boys, The Ventures, The T-Bones and others of that ilk. I was very pleasantly surprised. Of course, once I recognized that it was Silverline, my expectations plummeted. Perhaps that there's some of that in my listening, but this is one I'm glad I own. However, even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
