I got one, so there's no argument if it is supposed to exist or not, but there's a thing that puzzles me: i've not seen a mention of it anywhere, even on Beatles high-rated sites.
It is so uncommon?

I received a copy of this Q8 from a member here a few years ago. It is probably as rare as the DSOTM UK Q8, but sells on eBay for less.

I would still like to hear from our UK guys as to why UK Q8's are so rare.....

Anyway, there appears to be some difference in the mic compared to the crappy Capitol mess, however, it is still no prize winner for seperation.

I remember the original token Q8 effort from Capitol in 1972 was a green cartridge and later re-issued on the purple carts of Capitol Q8s of 1974-75.

Was the UK issue green or even white?

Black shell - cart is riveted-style, as the RCA Q8 - which was the standard cart type for EMI releases prior to 1973 in several Eu countries.
