Is that a CD set, or LP? How is the sound quality?

4 CD set. Sound quality is excellent. It was professionally recorded. The band had intended to make use of the recordings, but then they played Budokan the following year and these recordings got archived. This is a limited edition of 2,000 copies. It was already out-of-print by release date. You may be able to find a reasonably priced copy if you look around.

Oh wow, OK. Big fan here obviously!

Lou Reed - New Sensations

Great bunch of songs including the hit
I Love You Suzanne (the worst song here IMO).
The sound is pretty good, mastered by Vic Anesini on this Iconoclassic release though the drums have a bit of that annoying 80’s sound.

I had never heard of them either, but absolutely loving it. And is a nice break from Christmas music. My wife insists on festive music and I'm not a fan, so we've compromised on Squirrel Nut Zippers Christmas Caravan.

Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road

The 40th Anniversary Box Set of my favourite record.
The base album sounds fine, not the best mastering I’ve heard, nor the worst.
The covers on Disc 2 aren’t as bad as expected but pointless nonetheless.
The live tracks on discs 3 & 4 are good, a bit uneven in sound & performance but nice to hear some album tracks mixed in with the hits and many tracks extended in length.
The DVD is interesting; I’ve seen it before.
The book is just OK.

Overall this set could have/should have been better.
