Each release gets better and better... 2016's 'Undercurrent' was nominated for three Grammys and won 2. This year's 'World on the Ground' is produced by John Leventhal (who plays several instruments). Jarosz, apart from writing and singing the songs, plays guitar, mandolin and bouzouki. Once described as a bluegrass 'prodigy', she has widened her sonic palette massively to come up with a warm, assured set of songs that wraps the listener in a beautiful embrace for the duration. The perfect album for quiet times; I wrap myself in it when I'm not in the mood for Jeff Beck, John Mayall or Big Big Train.

I’m taking my cloth mask, pulling it out the wash
Putting it on my face, wearing it over my nose.
I’m taking my Clorox, putting it in my car
If ever I choose to drink it, it’ll prolly leave a scar.

Livin’ my life during COVID

I’m taking my new hand soap, slathering up my arms

Washing longer now, don’t wanna do no harm!
I carry hand sanitizer, taking it on my stroll
Using it all the time, y’all--don’t wanna be no fool

Livin’ my life during COVID

I’m hanging out with my own self, won’t see anyone
Keepin’ some distance, stay six feet away or we’re done
I’m living my own schedule, figuring out this zoom
Whenever I’m not prepared, pretend I’m frozen in the room!

They have returned to a heaviness that they lost for awhile. This is everything you can expect/hope/look forward to from the boys.

Thank you!

There are many more CD's which I haven't played yet! Great memories of our times together. I never knew she was in Who's Who until she passed! We took a dozen or more vacations together with our spouses.

Some of the discs are ones I gifted her. Boomerangs that now evoke fond thoughts.
