Needed equipment for ripping dvd-a and sacd

My old computer finally died so I'm in the process of looking for a new one. I would be interested in ripping all of my sacds and dvd audios. What requirements are necessary to do that? I already have a few oppos, but I'm not sure of the process. Can I get away with purchasing a tablet? Any insight would be very helpful. Thanks!

For DVD-A, all you need is a DVD capable drive in your computer and a copy of DVD-Audio Extractor or XRecode-3 (or similar).

Ok..so does this software work on an android tablet? Thats where I need to start - which tablet/computer to buy. He doesnt mention anything about that. I don't have a desktop anymore. Are there compatibility issues?

A PC is necessary.
