I haven't been here in awhile, but found a quad 8-track at Goodwill recently.

Is this any good? I'm familiar with Brad Miller's Mystic Moods material, and I know he was fond of trains. I'm unable to listen to this right now, so was curious as to what this is like.

Brad Miller started out recording trains and thunderstorms and such. He was one of the first to use surround sound for such things, and his very early albums on Mobile Fidelity were actually quad!! He brought his recordings to WB, including some Mystic Moods titles, and they were released on WB for a while. They then reverted to Brad's own Soundbird label, and a few others. Some titles were available on MF, WB and Soundbird.

If I recall, this title is what it says. Sounds of the steam engine train chugging along. Actually, you don't see this tape very often. A good find!

I see this quad record everytime I go to Joe's Record Paradise in Rockville, MD (they actually have a small qaud vinyl section). I'm curious, but not enought to pay 10 bucks for it.
