Ric Ocasek in S&V

In the new S&A, Ric Ocasek was asked if he ever produced in surround........He responded,"No I haven't actually-mostly because I only have two ears (laughs)"

Arghhh!!!! I guess the rumors about The Cars in surround are dashed if Rick has anything to do with it.

He does though go on to say that "the car would be a good place for surround music. No doubt about that."

The car. Good place for surround. Is that a subliminal hint? Get it? The car-The Cars??? Who knows?

What a disappointing trite remark from Mr. Ocasek; let's excuse him from any involvement in the project....

In his behalf, he doesn't discredit surround totally-just in music, but possibly music in the car.

I theorize Ric has no eyes because the Cars were one of the most undynamic live acts I have ever seen. Never have I seen a band look so board on stage.
