Oh my, this is not good. What one hell of a singer he was. Such a key part of my derelict teen years. Wow! The memories of Hair of the Dog blasting in my 442 and mega buzz....

He truly was, one of the super great vocalists. For this genre, he really could belt out the highs. So unique, no one sounded like him...and he sure had charisma.

My first ever LP was Nazareth RAZAMANAZ, I have listened a lot to them over the years, Hair Of The Dog being my favourite.

Loved his vocals - just gutted even though I understood he was in failing health.

Just love the live album “Snaz”.
Saw them during that era and loved the show.

Always thought they were a bit underrated in the States.

So sad, I instantly became a Nazareth fan with the release of the single "This Flight Tonight" and the accompanied album "Loud 'N' Proud"! I immediately purchased the single and also made a cassette copy of a friends LP. I eventually purchased the album for myself.

I remember being a bit put off by a remark by Burton Cummings during a CKY radio program (early 2000's) in which he played the Joni Mitchell version proclaiming that it was "not that Nazareth schlock"!

Nazareth played here some years ago at "Harbourfest". I was surprised and somewhat amazed that the instrument that he was playing on "Hair of the Dog" was not an electric guitar but rather bagpipes!

I picked up the complete CD set of Nazareth albums on the CDMaximum label years ago from a seller in Russia. Those discs were later banned from eBay due to copyright concerns. While I have few qualms about the copyright issue, given the situation today I would no longer want to support Russia in any way!

CDMaximum is a russian pirate label and surely it's a scam.

wow !!! I was just spinning and digging on Nazareth last weekend !!!!! I said to myself - ' Brian Johnson vocalist from AC DC sounds similar to The Dan."
Chuckled and thought who made who. no pun intended
Saw Naz several times in concert. They put on a great show.

I saw them a few years ago, only original member left was Pete Agnew on Bass (his son plays drums), the band were excellent, as were the songs, the vocalist was close to Dan McCaffery's vocals, but not quite the same
