SA 8000X was introduced in fall of '73, and was discontinued in fall of '75. 26W/ch x 4. 80 w/ch x 2 bridged. It was the top of the line.
SA 6400X was introduced in fall of '73, and was discontinued in fall of '75. 14w/ch x 4. 42 w/ch x 2 bridged.

thanks for the info was supprised to learn that the 8000x is the more powerfull of the 2,i love my 8000x but the 6400x has alot of features the 8000x dosnt,the only drawback i can see with the 6400x is its lack of metersbut since ive recently purchased the sh3433 quadrascope its not a big deal,now if i only could find the remote for the units,thanks again

You're welcome. I've had my SH-3433 for nearly 40 years. I love it! The scope and my Akai CR80D-SS have been on every main system I've owned in that time.

Good luck finding the remote.
