Sansui CA/BA-3000 Restoration

This is my first post. I am here because I found a reference to QuadBob who appears to be a specialist in Sansui repair. I just turned 50 years old. My wife asked me what I wanted for the big one, so I told her that ever since I was 18 I wanted a Sansui CA/BA-3000. Well, I have picked up both that are pretty much in mint condition. I would like to have a great technician go over the units for me so that I can listen to them for as long as possible. I live in La Mesa, CA, which is a stone's throw from Spring Valley. This is a great forum. QB contacted me and I'll be hooking up with him sometime soon. As for me, I don't ever want to retire. If I can ever get to the point where I'm not spending most of my day making a living, I have a long list of things that I still want to do. Well OK, laying on the beach may be part of it, but I'll be wearing a lot of sunscreen. Anyways, it looks like a few of us are all turning 50 in the same month. Happy birthday to everyone who's day is arriving soon! I'll drink a beer for all of you!
