This is probably my favorite western film, has held up to repeated viewings.
Using actors who are brothers to play characters who are brothers was genius.

This is a bit strange regarding the soundtrack, how often does this happen to you home theater aficionados?

"Ironically enough, the 5.1 track actually stays anchored to the center channel and doesn’t really utilize any of the other channels. While there’s some bleed, it’s mostly just the mono track fed to the center channel.
Some people may like the fuller sound of the 2.0 track, but the 5.1 is actually more faithful to the original mono theatrical experience."

The best visual media to come out of the Star Wars franchise since Empire, and—objectively speaking—the most finely crafted visual narrative within the Star Wars universe. I'm hoping this gets a standard, non-steelbook release later down the line.

Well, I ordered "Nostalghia" this morning based solely on the raves written here knowing nothing about it. I do like foreign films, but films with pretty much just moody extended shot imagery tend to bore me. I do love a film that makes me think about it days later. I hope I like this.

In some cases, JJ, the steelbook editions only add a few dollars to the total price ..... and I know this is a stretch, but those steelbooks remind of the days when 35mm films were delivered to the cinemas in those steel cannisters. LOL!

Nevertheless, I just prefer standard Amaray/digipak/digibook packaging.

Sounds almost too good to be true. Never heard of this manufacturer! I was under the impression that Dolby Vision was not available in projection TVs, just flat screeners! And 3D and built in 50 watt amps with speakers! All for $3K @ Amazon.

Would love to see it in person. And would servicing be available in the USA?
