Yes, yes, I bought another new performance of a chestnut Mozart piece, but 1) it's TACET, and 2) I love sitting in the middle of the orchestra like in Mozart's day . Oh, and 3) I already have every other multi TACET has released. Don't tell them, they'll take advantage of me. Or maybe do tell them?

Yes. You are right and there are some but, for me, nothing I have not already seen. The "Advanced Search" is not very useful for it since one cannot choose "MCH" but MCH with a specific sample rate and, even then, the results are inconsistent. Overall, quite frustrating.

I hope both sites a) add more titles and b) improve their search functions.

I had the same experience Kal. It seemed that there is little actual “text” based info for MCH titles, and mainly an image inserted into an image for identification of Multi Channel.
Perhaps if we all take a pro-active mind set and communicate our frustrations for this problem with a message to their Customer Support, and see if that has any influence.

Thanks for the heads up on these TACET releases. I wasn't familiar with them...
So they are very discreet, center focused listening location mixes? How are the performances?
I need to look into these more!
I saw in another thread, that once in a blue moon, Amazon has these for under $10..

Yes, very discreet and center focused -- they more often than not include graphics showing which instruments are on which channels.
I've found the string quartets particularly involving in surround.

I guess I should explain "the middle of the orchestra" bit, but it would set off a flurry of back 'n forth, lol.

I gave it a shot, but to my ears, the sound quality of the 5.1 audio from the Blu-Ray was less pleasant than the stereo.

Ouch indeed. I haven't read enough of Hurwitz's reviews to know whether I trust his judgment. (He does concede that it sounds great, though!) Still, I don't need another 9th.

I plan to listen. It's a major release and deserves (so aggrandizing!) my consideration. I greatly enjoy Hurwitz but he's a provocateur. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
