Whatever happened to the "Monster" Music Surround Discs?

I thought there would be a few more titles released this year. I guess the wells are really running dry around the surround music marketplace...

its a shame I recently purchased the Ray Charles Disc from Monster music supurb. Not full strength DVDA but very good DVDV 96/24 DTS

I liked the couple of Monster discs I have heard but I am not surprised they couldn't make this work.

If you think that's superb, you should try the new Concord SACD "Ray Sings, Basie Swings." Superior in EVERY way.

Same thing that usually happens with Monster product. The hype doesn't match the actual product. I bought the Three Doors Down disc, and it's pretty pedestrian in both sound and presentation.

Absolutely agree. One of the best discs in my collection.
