Never got the chance to see them, you're quite fortunate :)

You should really try to go next time the Moody Blues tour the Great White North. Justin Hayward and John Lodge are still in top form as performers, and Graeme Edge is still a boat-load of fun too. There's never a single concert I have been to of theirs where I walked out disappointed. They deliver each and every time, and that's why this will be my sixth Moody Blues concert coming up in March! :)

i have a ticket to see Joe Satriani at Hard Rock Cafe in Orlando on March 18th and one to see Generation Axe (Steve Vai and company) on April 21st the same place.

Snood going to see Gary Clark Jr at House of Blues Orlando/Downtown Disney on Saturday

Great Geeeeeeeeeeeeetareeeeeeeeeeeest

Gary Clark Jr was AAWWWWWWWWWWWESOME played about 1 hour 50 minutes.......

The Orlando crowd was a lil under appreciative........and a but dickish..............amazing how people just wanna have conversations at a freaking music event. Snood pissed a couple peeps off by saying whaaaaaa?? and pointing at the stage!!!!!

Snood 6'3" long hair like Iggy Pop and pretty stout.............so peeps rarely say wtf back...........if they do it is still like me saying oh yeah?

Tonight Snood was like stfu and enjoy the music!!! Look a great guitarist on stage right in front of you!!

Freaking tourist and Orlando music fans urrrrrrrrrgh

Stlll glad me went...........Gary Clark Jr is great musician :snoodhug:

Sorry to hear you had problems. It would have upset me too. I have been to lots of concerts in Orlando and never had an audience problem. I have never been to the house of blues.

Well we eventually moved from that section and stuck our butt against the back bar ....much better sound there and easy access to the rumnCokez

But the conversation these idiots were having was nothing about the band grrrrrr

A great gig to have been to Snood, Gary Clarke Jr. is brilliant, shame about the audience.

It puzzles me why people even bother going when all they do is chat or look at their damn phones. Maybe you could come over to the UK and educate some of our audiences as well! I've been to gigs where its seated and people stand up, block the view and sound from those of us many rows behind and won't sit down, happened to me at a Bad Company gig a few years ago.

I don't understand it. Concert tickets are ridiculously expensive. My ticket to Generation Axe cost me $120. Why would someone spend that kind of money and not pay attention to the band?

What venue Ed? Tickets on sale now? Could be another opportunity for our Bay Area get together?

LA. The Forum, I think. My show is on the 15th, IIRC. Tickets were on sale quite a few months ago. Maybe there are still some available!

Given that Maiden travel more extensively around the world than any other band (AfaiK), I don't think hitting all US markets is quite as important to them.
The closest they are coming to SF is Seattle and LA.

Apparently Maiden just taken delivery of a new customised 747!

this is so hilarious.. I had not this image of you in mind... far from it.. :popcorn

I never even try to imagine what people actually look like.. the personality (and the avatar choice, of course) does it all..

^_^

lol Snood is not confrontational at all (rarely) unless it comes to disturbing Snood listening to tunes live.......these jerks were acting like they were at a NASCAR racing event yeeeeeeeeeeeehaw

But yeah the last 4 years Snood has gone from having a Mitch Mitchell (drummer for Jimi Hendrix) fro.......to a shaved head (which me really liked and will go back to) to a lower than shoulder blade blondish length straight hair.........

albeit not as full as Snood would like

Love the popcorn emoticon tho Ji eff

Snood not go to many concerts but, daaaaaaaaaaaamn - people need to stfu and enjoy the music :howl

That's funny. A couple of years ago at a Dave Mathews concert I managed to pick a fight with not one but three guys who, any one of them, could have squashed me. I think that when an old man, I'm 57, turns around and tells three young guys to "shut up or I'll come up there and make you shut up", shocks them so much that they got up and switched seat.. Lol. Sometimes I think I'm lucky to still be alive.

That definitely sounds like a good combination. I've been to two Steely Dan concerts in the last few years, and both were very enjoyable experiences, particularly with their A+ band! As for Steve Winwood, he opened for Tom Petty in Nashville back in 2014 and was also very impressive even though I wasn't familiar with all of the material he played.
Not planning to catch one of these shows this year, but my brother might catch the Dan at Jazz Fest this year in New Orleans. :)
