Mr Angus Young, charismatic and bluesy guitarist of AC/DC turned 62 yesterday (March 31)
Hell ain't a bad place to be...keep on rocking Angus.

Not gonna lie - I think he's a wonderful guitarist. Technical, nah. But wow, what feeling and heart and soul he puts into his playing. Glad I saw them once...1981(might have been 1980...can't remember) during their monumental Back In Black tour. Yeah - he threw his damn sweat on me as he ran right in front of me at Horton Field House, Normal Illinois.

If you think the Scorpions are all about jams similar to Blackout album. Check out this tune from earlier years. Out-freaking-standing. Uli Jon Roth is one hell of a guitarist...in case you didn't know....

Don't get me started...more older Scorps...just amazing tunes back in the day.....before Lovedrive existed...

In our world our Autocorrect funny fiascos, human typos can also be quite humourous especially when unintended.

I was browsing through e-bay listings and I saw one for Savory Brown instead of Savoy Brown. :D

I had no idea that these two legendary belters had gotten together. There's actually a great vibe between them. :)

Holy Crap! That is awesome. I'm a HUGE Tom Jones fan and well, Janice......they both look like (especially Janice) they are having a gas here. Wonderful video. Thanks for finding that.

You can get Pearl w/Tom Jones on We Can Work it Out plus Pearl doing Little Girl Blue & Raise Your Hand on This Is Tom Jones Season 1. Joe Cocker, Aretha Franklin, Moody Blues, Burt Bacharach, Little Richard, Stevie Wonder & more on Vol. 1: https://www.amazon.com/This-Tom-Jon...rd_wg=sNkea&psc=1&refRID=G3X93DFK96NYB5450QVV

Although I like TJ, I bought it for all the other folks. Released on DVD in '07.

Oh boy...tempting....
Linda, is the picture a total crap fest? Or is it tolerable?

I have so much new hard rock music that is new this year, hard to keep up and of course all is RBCD. Some stunning notable titles are Deep Purple Infinite and the accompanying EP, 5 songs, All I got is You. Also would be Mike + The Mechanics Let Me Fly, Night Rangers new disc is fairly good with an accomping DVD that has interviews, horrible and two really good discrete 5.1 videos. My favorite though is the CD/Blu Ray combo of Tedeschi Trucks Band, Live in Oakland.

Speaking of new, Chickenfoot's new 2 disc set is super great with a most awesome, better than you could imagine of Deep Purple's Highway Star.

Markie, when I was listening to Steve Hackett's new album The Night Siren last night I was thinking to myself, MARPOW would really like this album. It's one of Steve's BEST in years and has a great discrete 5.1 mix. And it's Cheap (RBCD/BD~A)....I paid under $14 delivered.

You think, I trust you, but I have never been that big of a Hackett fan, to be honest, I am really burned out on Prog Rock at the moment, been there done that, but $14.00, I'll give it a try.

It's not really prog rock at all. Some great riffing, some great melodies and trust me, you'll like it.
