Hello everyone,

for some reason I stopped receiving notifications from the topic...but I'm glad I'm reading now all together! :)

There were a couple of days of delay from BS because of delayed delivery of the digibooks, but I think now it should be all ok....and I'm very glad to read you are receiving it (or you'll receive it soon)...and someone is already enjoying it!

Kscope indeed did an amazing job supporting all my choices for package and wanting as usual only the best.

Anyone knows if there will be a Poll topic for this too? With Afterthoughts I linked that to Kscope and they were very happy...with this one considering also the bonus contents and the problem solved with Oppo players, showing them some positive feedback will help for the future....I'm currently working on new material and with the band during Christmas we'll be in studio recording something more...Possibility for something new next year is always more real indeed, and there could be very good news in 5.1 dvd-a also about my other project Memories Of Machines...so any positive feedback I can use is appreciated. I'm very honest and direct here in this forum, your help is helping a lot and will help a lot :)


P.S. Considering this is a specialised forum..if anyone knows journalists I could send a 5.1 promo for review on specialised magazines, please let me know.
 
Giancarlo, that is good news and I hope that happens with Memories of Machines as thats a buy for me for sure.

Hello Giancarlo! My Lightdark copy arrived yesterday, so no time yet for a listen.
Just read the possibility of a Memories of Machines 5.1 release and will strongly support it! That's my favourite album from all yours.
By the way, any chances of Sol29 receiving the same treatment?

Hi Cesar, I'm afraid with Sol29 is going to be difficult because I cannot access anymore at the moment the original multitrack, and it was already released three times with the final mastered one being the definitive one.

I'd like more to give ASOL the dvd-a treatment with hires surround (it was originally released as high quality DTS surround)...we'll see...lots of things in the plans, but I try to give priority always to new material if I can :)

Hi Giancarlo,

A pity Sol29 multitracks cannot be accessed, but one can hope for the future!
Not sure about how much ASOL would benefit from DVD-A treatment, as it sounds great already in humble DTS.
Good to know you're giving priority to recording new music, plenty of time in the next 40 years for re-releases ;)

BTW, listening now while working to Lightdark in 5.1. Sounds gorgeous in surround!

The rerelease of Lightdark is great. The music and mix of course, and also very informative notes from Marianne de Chastelaine, Tim Bowness and yourself. A good summary of the journey :)

A 5.1 mix of MoM's Warm Winter wil be great to hear, it is really a very good album!
 
My copy has arrived, fantastic booklet - great photos, allowing a 5.1 disc, KScope really does understand what we want! As I'm working from home I'll be listening to the album this afternoon :banana:
