I was looking at some titles on amazon UK and noticed this "tab" area that mentioned "promotion message-pre order price guarantee...so I clicked on it and it gave this message...under the terms and conditions...the very first "term" is that in order to get the price guarantee the listing must bear the promotion message....and it only applies to amazon UK.....now I order from them and I don't ever remember seeing that message before....for those of you in the UK...is this something new?...or was it there in the past and I just didn't notice it....here is the same listing on amazon US without the pre-order price guarantee "tab"

Yeah I have noticed it for a while... Handy for them to get out of it if they don't show the banner I guess. Are you covered by the 'pre-order guarantee' on all items on Amazon.com then?
I've never seen the banner on amazon US...thanks for letting me know...I guess I just never noticed it...
