Dylan SACD Rumor ?

On another forum, there is talk about the SACD versions of the Dylan disks being out of print now, to be replaced by standard CDs. Is that official?

It's not official, but Sony is releasing red book only versions of the SACDs soon. Whether or not the hybrids go out of print remains to be seen. I would buy the SACDs now though just to be safe.

Well, I guess it's time to go pick up some of the SACDs then. I've only got Highway 61 Revisted so far, and oddly this one sounds better on the redbook layer played thru the Wadia. Not as thin sounding that way. Would be nice if Sony would at least re-release the SACDs as single layer types, rather than get rid of them altogether.
