Foo Fighters - Sonic Highways 5.1

Tonight I watched the 3rd episode of Foo Fighters Sonic Highways docuseries on HBO and it ended with the track Congregation. I'm guessing that each episode will feature a complete song. So I was wondering if anyone was planning on extracting the 5.1 Dolby Digital audio from the episodes and compiling a 5.1 version of the new album.

Great series. I can't imagine this won't find its way onto blu-ray. Sadly, there's no real 5.1 mix - it would be perfect vehicle for this material. The stories, the vibe, the idea, hardcoded lyrics, three (or more) guitars...

No need to guess, that's the project: 8th album, 8 cities, 8 tracks (songs) and 8 episode documentary.

I'm really liking this series. Watching it on HBO.

I love the way they talk about the different aspects of each studio. Very informative for someone like me who likes surround music but has never stepped foot into an actual studio.
