Okay, it's only taken me 20 years, but I think I've sussed it out. Tell me if you agree or disagree:
1) The Tate II is the penultimate unit for decoding SQ, not so good for quad synthesizing.
2) The Fosgate Model 4 is a pretty good quad decoder, and can be used for SQ decoding (although it's not as good as a real Tate).
3) The Fosgate Space Matrix 3610 is an excellent quad synthesizer but not useful at all for SQ decoding.
Am I right? And where does the Model 5 fit into the equation?
