Anyone know how to access these articles without having to subscribe to the NY Times for the next thousand years? I Googled several links but they all led me back to the Times.
For new subscribers, a digital subscription is a buck a week for the first year, and you can cancel any time. (They bill you four weeks at a time.) Even the regular rate is only $6.25 per week.

But wait, there's more:

Gord covered Leroy Van Dyke/Buddy Black's (co-writer) The Auctioneer at his live shows going back to the 60's. Sadly, in the many times I caught him live, he never played this one. A studio version was finally released on digitally recorded Dream Street Rose. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!
