One recent Surround Sound SACD release that hasn't received much attention so far is the new SACD by Ladysmith Black Mambazo. They gained fame by appearing on Paul Simon's Graceland album and several more since.
The new Surround SACD on telarc's Heads Up jazz and world music label features a very aggressive surround mix which places the lead vocal in the Center Channel and the balance of the group in the front and surround channels. If you like this kind of music, it's one to nab!
