Bernard Herrmann "Obsession" OST newly recorded BDA 5.1 DTS HDMA.

Next to last soundtrack from the maestro (Taxi Driver was his last). Directed by Brian DePalma and an overt homage to Hitchcock's Vertigo (also scored by Hermann). Great recording with some nicely discrete elements.

Return To Forever - Returns

If you like fusiony-jazz/rock instrumental music, this is an absolute must-have! Great fidelity and astoundingly good deep bass. I'm not quite sure if this would be considered a great surround title, but it does seem to have a huge wrap-around stereo image that uses all of the speakers. Really hard-left sounds are more in the left rear and really hard-right likewise bleeds into the right rear. I would say that it's much better than just 'big stereo', it's more like 360° stereo!

Anathema- A Sort Of Homecoming. I didnt gave this much attention when it came out, but this is a great album. Stripped down versions with great singing from lovely Lee. Surround mix from Bruce Soord, great stuff.
