Next to last soundtrack from the maestro (Taxi Driver was his last). Directed by Brian DePalma and an overt homage to Hitchcock's Vertigo (also scored by Hermann). Great recording with some nicely discrete elements. (y)

But how is a measure correct when comparing analog and digital? :)

But I really think the CD sounds good, no clipping, pretty organic sound considering the hard mastering.

If you like fusiony-jazz/rock instrumental music, this is an absolute must-have! Great fidelity and astoundingly good deep bass. I'm not quite sure if this would be considered a great surround title, but it does seem to have a huge wrap-around stereo image that uses all of the speakers. Really hard-left sounds are more in the left rear and really hard-right likewise bleeds into the right rear. I would say that it's much better than just 'big stereo', it's more like 360° stereo!
