Hey there
miss you too guys, but last year or so was actually a changing one, so I really just spent all time developing the new course of my music, that will be quite clear with the new Nosound and something else I can't reveal now
The MoM reissue is still in the pipeline but I always prefer to concentrate efforts towards the future, so any reissue takes the backseat when I have new material...by definition for an artist, new is always better than old, otherwise wouldn't even make sense to write it! I have a slot for MoM somewhere during the summer, but release might be a few months later than that. And yes this would include surround.
Obviously all my new releases always include surround, this time even binaural probably, even if some changes might happen. Release might be high quality FLAC 5.1 24/48 instead of having another disc, these are just too much a hassle and most of all expensive (blu-ray) to prepare, while most systems now read FLAC 5.1 files and the future is heading towards that (and more environment friendly, that I like a lot)...and it also means is MUCH cheaper (did I say almost free?) for you guys to have it, and I concentrate only on the mix and not on damn authoring problems and stupid old standards
About Atmos honestly I'll not go that way, I like to stay with what music demands not what trends demand, and for music 5.1 is more than enough (I have no FX or stuff that needs to come from above), and most of all is the speakers configuration available to the vast majority of people, so I'll stick with it, 5.1 uncompressed pure mix, out from my own studio sent directly to you guys.
New Nosound is going to be a shock for some of you, but finally after 10 years I found the way to truly express myself without any constraints, invested a lot in a full analog set, and I do not care anymore what fans expect...I know they'll follow us and will welcome all the new kind of audience that will probably arrive with this new course of Nosound music...and not only..
This year feels as exciting as it was when I did all on my own the debut album Sol29...just much more than that
