Fifty years gone. Lots of pieces out there on the interwebs marking the anniversary of his death. Lindsay Zoladz has a good one (and a separate, deeper-dive playlist) in the Times, but they're both paywalled. Here's one of the best that you can read for free, IMO, by Nancy Walecki:
