Anyone get this DVD yet?? Classic film, classic tunes, in DTS surround. I am grabbing it this weekend and giving it a spin.

I'll have to pick it up! Great movie with excellent performances. A DTS track is like icing on the cake.

Watched parts of it last night.

The good part is that it is widescreen, about a 2.35 aspect ratio, like the original theater presentation.

Unfortunatly, it is fairly grainy, due to the age and the way it was filmed. That's OK though, it fits with the presentation.

I listened to the DTS Soundtrack. Do not expect a wild surround mix, it is pretty natural, with something in the center channel, but pretty much a stereo soundfield with ambience in the rears.

Damn, this is one talanted guy. Crank up "The Loner", "Hurricane", "Powederfinger",............Rock and Roll will Never Die!! :D :D

All in all, it is great to see this film as it was originally intended to be seen, and the audio is great, although not too surround-ish, which is actually pretty natural.

All in all, a good buy for fans, and even casual fans. Just don't expect razor sharp video!

The mix/music is loud I even managed to wake my children up watching it with the dial on half the usual volume.
