They are on a membership drive. I would suggest that any active members here go over and join up. There is some great info over there, and it would be nice to have more multichannel supporters in the membership.

Those who are unaware, Steve Hoffman is the mastering engineer that did all of the DCC GOld discs, along with many CDs that you probably already own.

He also has done the CCR SACDs, although they are only stereo.

That was a heartbreaker that Steve did not include any of the quad mixes on the SACDs of CCR.

I would have bought any and all of them just to get 5.1 or quad of any CCR.

These record companies need to get it together and break out those 1/4 inch quad masters, and at least listen to them for DVD-A and SACD consideration.

I think Steve had little or no choice in the matter... not that he would have included them if he could, but it's a moot point.
