$150 to repair this turntable?
I was given a Kenwood kp-5022. It has never run at the correct speed, actually has a 220plug with a 120 converter at the end.
So I took it to get inspected and was quoted at $150 to replace 9 capacitors and the power plug.
Comes with 90 warranty and I have had good experiences with the shop.
I have a JVC 4dd-5, a pikering cart, and 608DEQ Pickering D2400Q/D2000Q Replacement Stylus.
My amp is a pioneer qx949 and I run this all through the tape monitor.
So, what do you think? Where should I invest.
