Please post your thoughts and comments on this 2003 5.1 surround SACD release from Chick Corea entitled "Rendezvous In New York".
The audio was recorded live at New York City's Blue Note Jazz Club in April 2003.

A PURE DSD LIVE Recording with a who's who of Jazz Greats. Guest recording artist Bobby McFerrin is marvelous. I voted a 9. Ambient rears except for applause but IMO, a state of the art recording. YOU ARE IN the Blue Note Jazz club with the best seat in the house!

I agree, a 9 also. Well recorded and sounds great at whatever volume level I want. Love it!

Yea, I got this as well. Very nice. Ripped it for my ROON listening pleasure. Perhaps not as good sounding as the SACD (if you bother to compare), and only DTS multi-channel, but sounds very nice in its own right!
