Wonder if they are shipping the HFPA Blu-Rays soon too.

I cannot afford the box at this time, but I want to get the HFPA ASAP!

Since my HFPA from Amazon is not supposed to ship until the end of the month, gonna hop on over to BS to get it I think. :)
I ordered the BD from Burning Shed and got my shipping notice this morning - so yes, the BDs are on the way too.

A new baby has arrived:

Thanks for the pics, IMachine!

Can you confirm the audio options on the disc?
The pics are a little blurry, but it looks like DTS-HD MA 5.1 along with LPCM 5.1 & 2.0 towards the bottom of the cover and on the disc itself
And yet, it looks like the back cover says "Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Mix" at the top.

Silly, Universal! Dolby Digital isn't for Blu-Ray…@:

It has DTS-HD MA 5.1 along with LPCM 5.1 & 2.0 :)
So, this is my 1000th post.
The review will hat to wait til' #1001 :)
But it is running right NOW!

While waiting for some 5.1 reviews here's some general reviews I found, very general, nothing much even said about the 5.1(silly reviewers):

http://www.simpleminds.org/sm/reviews/sitr2015/index.htm

It's back, expanded to four CDs with outtakes, B-sides and live material, plus a DVD of attendant videos and a Steve Wilson 5.1 mix. It sounds shockingly current; plenty of acts are filling festival tents today with a similar noise.

That seems to be the extent of the surround sound reviews, if they were even talking about the surround mix specifically to begin with… ;)

So, yesterday I listened to the whole disc.
Yes, I can say it is another typical SW 5.1 mix.
Full sound, much going in in the rears and the sound is round the room.
Sure there are no deep lows, as in the 80s the deep bass was not often used.

Simple Minds never were one of my favorite bands, but it could change a little bit with this disc. :)

You all will be satisfied with it.

The menu is typical as for Universal.
The disc starts right away in DTS-HD 5.1, but I switched to 5.1 LPCM.
